At our pre-wedding planning meeting, I remember Holly saying, “I really hope that there’s some snow on the ground, although not a lot—perhaps just a sprinkle. Enough to make the winter wonderland theme of our wedding complete.” Holly definitely got her wish! Less than 12 hours before the wedding, Purcellville had a dusting of snow, giving the perfect setting for Jacob and Holly’s wintry, magical wedding.
I was thrilled to be the photographer for their wedding and was especially impressed with how smoothly everything ran! From the first look to family portraits to the ceremony to the reception and parting—the Wheeler wedding was one for the books.
Congratulations, Holly and Jacob—enjoy!
Walking up for the first look….
He was very ready!
Family photos!
The bridal party was the greatest. They knew exactly how to react when I told them to go crazy. 🙂
I told them to rush him 😉
Another part about the wedding that blew me away was the fact that everyone was willing to pose for me in 18 DEGREE WEATHER! I was super impressed.
Praying before the ceremony…
And it began!
Mr. and Mrs. Wheeler!!!
We squeezed in some more outdoor photos to make the best use of the sprinkling of snow on the ground.
Reception time!
The cake was THE most amazing cake I’ve ever seen! So beautiful!
The First Dance
Toasting Time
All too soon it was time to leave!
Congratulations again, you two! God bless you both.
