You’re my always, You’re my forever, You’re my reality.
You’re my sunshine, You’re my best times, You’re my anomaly.
And I’d choose you,
In a hundred lifetimes I’d choose you
In a hundred worlds I’d find You…
And I’d say, “I do” for the rest of my life
With all that I have, I do.
And I will
When the sky is falling
I promise you I’m all in,
No turning back.
Every day, every moment, Every breath you take…I choose you.
Christy sang these words to Forrest during her vows, bringing everyone in the room to tears. It was by far the most touching and tear-inducing ceremony I’ve had the honor of photographing…but I’m getting ahead of myself!
Forrest and Christy were married on a beautiful California day with close friends and family celebrating alongside them the entire day. I’ve known Christy since kindergarten, so seeing each other back at Emmanuel Presbyterian Church felt extremely normal—except that we were both grown up and celebrating her MARRIAGE instead of singing together in choir!! Everything about their wedding day was phenomenal. With the sunshine, amazing support from family and friends, and the overflowing joy of the bride and groom, I can’t think of anything that could have made their special day even better.
Congratulations to you both—Enjoy!
On to the church! The men were getting ready as I arrived, so I had a chance to capture some of their “getting ready” photos as well.
Forrest had to cross the church campus, and they took every precaution to make sure he wouldn’t accidentally see his bride!
Then came the bride for the first look!
(a little BTS shot of the awesome help I get during veil shots!)
Time for the ceremony to begin!
Then came Christy’s vows – and song dedicated to her husband. Her voice was absolutely stunning.
On to the reception!
After their send-off, the newly-weds met up with me at a nearby park for some more couple shots to end the night
Congratulations again to you both, Christy and Forrest. May God bless you two as you embark on the rest of your lives together!
