“Welcome to the Army, Ma’am!”

A saber arch, riverfront views, and a whole lotta laughter made Chaz and Hallie’s wedding absolutely perfect. As I mentioned in their engagement session post, I’ve been a fan of these two for ages, and finally seeing them tie the knot was one of the happiest moments of 2018.

Hallie had described Columbus, Georgia as pretty and industrial. She forgot to mention 110% photogenic and a photographer’s dream. Even though the non-stop rain from the days leading up to the wedding left the Chattahoochee River so swollen that it covered the boardwalk, the rest of the old town was so lovely that I instantly fell in love. Plus, the picturesque church that they were married in had the best set of red doors I’ve ever seen!

After photographing a Toplikar wedding last year, I knew this wedding would be an absolute blast – and I wasn’t wrong! From the moment I walked in the hotel room to snap the getting-ready photos to the last jingle bell sending off the bride and groom, I couldn’t have imagined a better celebration for Chaz and Hallie.

And in case you follow my blog regularly, I will be photographing Hallie’s twin sister’s wedding next month, so don’t freak out when you see the “same person” marrying two different people! 😉

Congratulations you two! Enjoy!

Ushered dad away…

We snuck outside for a couple more special shots on the deck and I’m SO glad we did! The light rain gave such a romantic touch to these photo!

Then all too soon, it was time to send them off

Congratulations again, Chaz and Hallie! God Bless you both.
