The golden light filtering through the trees, the majestic mountains peeking in the background, and the glorious smiles shining on every person’s face… I know I say it often, but Chris and Meridian’s wedding was one I’ll never forget and one of the best wedding days I’ve had the honor and joy of attending.

When Meridian first asked me if I would be willing to fly out to Colorado to be her wedding photographer, I was ECSTATIC (and obviously said yes). Every time I’ve ever traveled to Colorado in the past, I’ve always dreamed of photographing a wedding in the beautiful mountains. Well, not only did that dream come true last month, but I also got to celebrate alongside two wonderful friends as they started Day 1 of marriage. 🙂

I could go on about the wedding day and talk about all the perfect details, dreamy locations, and fantastic people that came together on June 8, but I’ll let the photos below do the talking for me. Congratulations again, Chris and Meridian!! Enjoy!

Ceremony time!

WE ARE MARRIED!

After the portraits, it was time to head to the reception! The reception was in the woodland yard of one of Meridian’s close family friends. Apparently they had always wished that their family property was used for a wedding, and so when they discovered that Meridian and Chris were looking for an outdoor reception location, they immediately offered their home. It was perfect. The fir trees, the string lights, the beautiful sunset…. easily a 12/10 reception venue and the prefect one for the bride and groom!

Congratulations again, you two! I cannot wait to see the wonderful ways the Lord will work through you both as man and wife.
