Years ago, I photographed an engagement session on the front lawn of the Historic Rosemont Manor in Berryville and thought, “Man, it would be so nice to photograph a wedding here someday…” Fast forward four years and voilà! Cooper and Lexi inadvertently made one of my photography dreams come true (thanks guys!)
The two of them are one of the coolest couples I’ve had the privilege of knowing. They know how to party and have a good time, but they are also incredibly steadfast and dependable whenever the situation calls for it. Those traits shone through during their wedding – the reception was spirited and lively, but they knew when to stop and take in the moments that really mattered most (including the first look… I may or may not teared up when editing the photos and rewatching Cooper’s face when he saw his beautiful bride for the first time that day).
And as an added bonus, both their engagement session and wedding day blessed us with *perfect* weather. We scored with 55 degree weather in February and 85 degree weather in June, so I think that’s about as perfect as you can get!
Congratulations, Cooper and Lexi! Thank you for letting me be a part of your absolutely beautiful day. Enjoy the highlights!
Before the bride and groom first look, we did a daddy daughter first look
Ready to see his bride for the first time that day! His reaction to seeing her wrecked me…
(The entire wedding party was invited to watch the first look as long as they hid behind a bush)
Time to get the ceremony started!
During the family formal photos, I saw the sun setting gloriously, so we had to grab a few more “just married” shots with the golden rays
Then it was time to head back indoors for the reception!
After much dancing and delicious trifle, it was time to send the bride and groom off to their honeymoon
Congratulations again you two! God bless you both
