When I arrived at Sarah and Caleb’s wedding rehearsal and was greeted with a big bear hug from the two of them, I knew their wedding was going to be an absolutely joyous occasion. Judging on the amount of smiles, laughs, hugs, and tears shared in St. Louis, MS, I’d say I was right.
Caleb and Sarah’s wedding perfectly reflected their personalities and fun-loving hearts. Bright orange (their favorite color) flooded the scene from the decorations to their matching shoes. To make it even more special, they were married in the exact same church that Sarah’s parents were married in years ago. Every detail was intentional and thoughtful, producing one of the happiest celebrations of marriage I’ve witnessed. Plus, Caleb and Sarah were just so darn happy to be married that it was fun just watching the two of them geek out! 🙂
Congratulations to the both of you, Caleb and Sarah!
(This was when I told them to drape their arms over each other for one big hug. I think they were mocking my demonstration… 😉 )
Moments away from the ceremony…
Upon seeing his beautiful bride for the first time that day, Caleb immediately burst into tears, completely overwhelmed with joy to see his soon-to-be-wife.
Mr. and Mrs. Goda!!!
And we were off to the reception! The reception took place in The Magic House, a children’s museum in St. Louis. Sarah explained that the moment she walked into the venue months ago, she knew that this was the perfect place for them to host their reception. Knowing how deeply they care for children, especially children with special needs, I couldn’t agree more.
I don’t know if the groomsmen knew ahead of time, but they were selected to be the opening act of the dance floor with a hilarious rendition of the Chicken Dance. They completely owned it.
Once the dance floor was opened, the guests were free enjoy themselves and wander about the museum!
All too soon, it was time to bring the evening to a close with a bubble send-off.
Congratulations again, Caleb and Sarah! God bless you both as you embark on life together. <3
